New website features
As you may have noticed, we have a new website to enhance both your experience as a customer and to help us assist you in finding the right product. We’ve produced a website with some interesting features for you to experience – in future postings we will run through some more of these technologies in detail. For the moment here is a summary:
Get a quick visual and text summary of Greenbarnes products by simply rolling over the products on the homepage and any of the product pages – for example, the hardwood page!
You can subscribe to our RSS feed by clicking on the RSS icon in the top right of the screen or by clicking on another RSS link. This allows you to keep up to date with the news items from Greenbarnes using Google Reader or the RSS news reader in your browser.
Current PDF documents are available beneath the popup images on every product page [subject to availability]. These downloads are directly relevant to the products you are browsing, saving you time and effort finding them. The sort of documents you will find there are brochures, pricing guides, specifying guides and technical drawings.
You can see a map of many of the Greenbarnes clients by visiting the Recent Projects Map page. By clicking on the markers you can find the nearest Greenbarnes signs to your location and see the details of exactly which product has been purhased. Very useful for browsing examples of products in your neighbourhood!
Selecting colours is an important part of the purchasing process and we now have a dedicated colour chart page with available colours for the relevant products. Please note that, due to the variation in colour from screen to screen and printer to printer, these colour charts are designed to be a ‘guideline’ in your choice. Contact us for more details.
Want a new way to browse the categories and tags on the site? Want to discover new things about Greenbarnes products and services by using a simple visual tool…well, you need to be in The Cloud. It presents a floating cloud of links for your perusal. Click on a link and find out where it leads!
