Recycled Plastic Ground Fixings are available as an additional extra and are a great safety addition designed to protect products from theft. Please note that ground fixings are incorporated into the manufacture of your order and if required should be ordered when ordering the Bench.  Two options are available as follows:

Concrete Ground Fixings
Recycled Plastic Ground Fixing Plates are recommended for concrete only. Plates are attached to the legs of the bench prior to dispatch. M10x115mm bolts supplied. Bolts are bolted into the ground and once tightened, the bolt expands using a claw mechanism. Made from 100% recycled plastic. Maintenance free. Does not rot, corrode or splinter. No staining or varnishing required. Can be washed with a jet wash or wiped down with a cloth.

Extended legs
We manufacture the legs with an addition 300mm on the product which is then sunk into the ground. Recommended for soft ground only. Made of 100% HDPE recycled plastic and are maintenance free which is great for benches in secluded areas such as woodlands. The material will not rot, corrode or splinter. Very robust and hard wearing. Completely weatherproof. Appearance and performance will be retained for years to come. Please note that only one set per product is required.

Ordering

Outdoor and Street Furniture is made to order and non returnable. Orders may be placed directly online by completing details of the required specification, by phone on 01280 701093, by email to sales@greenbarnes.co.uk. If you need us to quote your order number in correspondence or on the invoice, please be sure to include this when ordering. All orders will be acknowledged on receipt by email or (where no email address is supplied) in writing.

Lead time

Street Furniture is manufactured to order and available for delivery within the specified lead time on receipt of a confirmed order. In the unlikely event that the item(s) ordered cannot be delivered within this timescale, we will call you to let you know when delivery can be made and whether or not you wish to proceed on that basis.

Payment terms

Local Authorities, churches, schools and registered charities: 30 days from date of invoice.
All other non-account customers: Payment in full is required with order.

Methods of payment: Credit card, electronic payment (BACS) or cheque.

Delivery

All Street Furniture orders are delivered by our preferred nationwide courier on an all day business delivery service.

All consignments will need to be checked and signed for upon receipt. In the unlikely event any item being damaged or missing, this should be recorded on the delivery note when signing for the goods and reported to us, preferably immediately and at the very latest, within 24 hours of delivery. We regret that we are unable to entertain any claims for damage or shortages that are notified to us outside this timescale.

• Deliveries falling outside the range of our usual delivery service, i.e. to remote areas of the UK mainland and offshore islands, may require special arrangements. If you receive the message “Please contact us to discuss delivery methods/costs” when prompted to enter your postcode during the online buying process, please give us a call. This message doesn’t mean that we can’t deliver to your chosen address, just that we can’t automate the process of costing the delivery.  We will happily provide a competitive quotation on request.

In all cases we endeavour to get the goods to you in the safest, most cost-effective and convenient way possible.

25 Year Guarantee:

Each  comes with a 25 Year manufacturers guarantee on the quality of workmanship and materials used. We guarantee to the original purchaser that our Street Furniture is free from defects in material and workmanship. “Defect” is defined as any imperfection which impairs the normal use of the item. This guarantee is expressly limited to the labour and material costs of repair or replacement within 25 years of the date of despatch and excludes the following:

1] Defects caused by the improper assembly, installation or disassembly.

2] Defects occurring after purchase as a result of lack of maintenance as prescribed in the relevant maintenance instructions, unauthorised product modification, intentional damage, misuse, abuse or negligence.

3] Cosmetic damage.

4] Labour costs incurred in returning the board to us.
