Our Heavy Duty range of vandal-resistant, unglazed, recycled plastic noticeboards fills a small but important niche frequently ignored by other manufacturers. Heavy Duty recycled plastic is all about rugged simplicity and is constructed from materials that are maintenance-free, vandal-resistant and designed to stubbornly resist whatever life throws at them.
Solid Construction and Low “Whole-Life” Costs
As with our other ranges of recycled plastic noticeboards, being maintenance-free they come complete with not only a 5 year guarantee but also the certainty of much reduced “whole-life” costs when compared to an equivalent timber board. Frames are of hefty 100 x 50mm, extruded black recycled plastic section with (when post-mounted) matching 100mm square posts, whilst the standard self-healing rubber pinboard is bonded to a powder-coated 3mm thick aluminium back panel.
But the good news doesn’t stop there! In addition to the standard rubber pinboard any Heavy Duty board can be specified with an aluminium sign panel with computer-cut vinyl text (making it ideal wherever a robust, framed signpanel is required) or with a digitally printed information or interpretation panel. For the ultimate in protection and vandal-resistance, the latter can be manufactured as a g.r.p. encapsulation, thus providing a surface which is resistant to not only the vagaries of the British climate but also to cigarette burns and other acts of vandalism.
